About Upkaar Welfare Trust
Founded in 2016 by Arushi G. Bakshi, Upkaar started its journey as a welfare trust. Our mission is to focus on lifting the lives of women from all walks of life. Especially women in rural areas and slums, we educate and empower them. Upkaar is dedicated to improving the hygiene, health, and socio-economic conditions of women. With us, women will have all the opportunities and support they need to lead healthier and safer lives.
From the beginning, Upkaar has offered a range of services, including vocational training, counselling, and consultative workshops. It helps to empower every woman who is struggling to lead a happy life. Our goal is to address every personal, economical, and social issue women face and find a solution to it. We particularly provide assistance in areas like hygiene, health, and economic independence.
We offer skill education for women, safe and educate the girls, and most probably empower them. We build leadership qualities in them that can change their lives in a positive way.
